Blue Springs State Park -in Florida- is amongst my plans on visiting USA in april... Jorge is making numbers to join me on this part of the trip and I'm also photographing birds in Seattle (Bold Eagles in the snow!), Oregon (far northern birds), Arizona (totally new and exiting for me!) and Sonoma CA (on migration)... anyone interested in coming along and sharing birds, let me know! dedyes

Thanks for the awesome manatees, Ken saluedis

Very nice pictures, Ken!!!plaudies Thanks for sharing.

The manatees come to Blue Spring State Park to stay warm in the winter time. We have such an unusual cold weather this year that 80-100 manatees have died so far. Very sad.

Here in Merritt Island, we can see them all year round at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

It is pretty sad how the global - weather change is killing so many species around the world... we -the humans- will never learn... caloris
